Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard has taken to social media on Saturday evening, to send a heartfelt message of thanks to all at Premier League giants Arsenal.

Gunners stint
Norwegian creator Odegaard of course spent the 2nd-half of this past season plying his trade in North London.
After struggling for game-time upon his return to parent club Real Madrid last summer, it was decided that another loan spell away from the Bernabeu would best aid his development.
In turn, Arsenal, crying out for creativity, swooped to secure a 6-month loan deal for the 22-year-old.
Odegaard subsequently went on to enjoy something of a hit-and-miss spell at the Emirates, showcasing his unquestionable talents in starring displays versus the likes of West Ham and Brighton.

Such showings, however, were all too often followed by ineffective, sub-par outings on the part of the Norwegian international.
In turn, it did not come as too much of a surprise when speculation surrounding Arsenal’s interest in making Odegaard’s stay a permanent one began to die down, towards the campaign’s conclusion.
‘Thank everyone in and around the club’
Nevertheless, to this point, it had remained unclear exactly what Mikel Arteta’s plans entailed when it came to the possibility of keeping hold of the Real Madrid star.
As outlined above, though, on Saturday evening, Odegaard has himself provided an insight into precisely that.
Taking to Instagram, the 22-year-old posted a heartfelt message, bidding all of Arsenal’s fans, players, staff and supporters farewell, whilst assuring that the club will ‘always remain in my heart’.
Odegaard, in turn, looks primed to remain at the Bernabeu for the season ahead, to battle it out with the likes of Isco and Marco Asensio for a spot in new Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti’s setup.
