Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has, on Friday, provided a fresh insight into the future of midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

Reds exit incoming?
Chatter surrounding the future of Dutch international Wijnaldum has of course come back to the fore in a major way of late.
This comes with the 30-year-old’s time at Anfield looking more and more like coming to an end this summer.
Wijnaldum’s current terms on Merseyside are due to expire at the end of the season, with little progress thought to have been made in negotiations over a new deal.
La Liga giants Barcelona, in turn, have long been tipped as the most likely landing spot for the Liverpool star, with Wijnaldum’s former international boss and fellow countryman Ronald Koeman at the helm at the Camp Nou.
In fact, some outlets have even gone as far as to suggest that a pre-contract agreement is already in place between the two parties.
‘Nothing to say…’
In turn, with just weeks to run on his long-time midfield star’s deal, it came as little surprise when the subject of Wijnaldum’s future took centre stage in Jurgen Klopp’s latest press conference.
Ahead of Liverpool’s final outing of the season – a Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace on Sunday – the club’s boss was pressed for the latest on Wijnaldum’s future.
Klopp, though, was keen to keep his cards close to his chest, explaining:
‘There’s nothing to say in this moment. We have a game to play. We will see after the final whistle on Sunday.’
Klopp was then drawn on whether the uncertainty surrounding such an important member of his squad was a concern, heading into a season-defining fixture.
Liverpool occupy the final of the Premier League’s top-4 berths, ahead of the final round of fixtures.
‘It’s not the first time we had situations like this, and the boys always did well’, the German explained. ‘All of the boys show incredible character. The boys are used to being in negotiations and stuff like this.’
‘Gini’s character is not in question. He’s a sensational guy, a sensational guy, and completely committed to the team and to the club until the last day.’
‘We will see when that will be.’
