Liverpool home kit leak
Liverpool fans may be excited about the possibility of a new season after that such a poor campaign defending their title.
However, what they be more apprehensive about is the representation of the club’s colours on the new home kit that has been reportedly leaked online.
Liverpool are synonymous with having a red kit and whilst the leak does show a strip where that is the main feature, some other shades have snuck in.
The diagonal stripes bring a lighter colour but it is tricky to define on the image. However, immediately the eyes are drawn the the collar and sleeve’s cuffs.
A strange orange tinge borders the kit and it has not gone down particularly well.
Plenty of ill-faced emojis fill the comment section, although there was admittedly some appreciation.
The away kit
What Reds supporters can take solace in is the away strip.
The black with red and light blue patterned shoulder pads.
There is an element which makes it look like a superhero suit with the rigid lines emphasising the torso.
One supporter in the comments even noted ‘into the Spiderverse’ with the kit drawing comparisons to the web slinging hero in the Sony animated movie.
Whether Liverpool fans can get on board with either kits remains to be seen as Jurgen Klopp and his side aim to finish the season as strongly as possible.
Top 4 is still within reach but with few games remaining, there is not much time.
7 points from 4th placed Chelsea with a game in hand is feasible, however, the Blues look inspired after their semi-final victories over Manchester City and Real Madrid in the FA Cup and Champions League.
Plus the game in hand is against Manchester United. It could be a tricky ambition to achieve.
