Liverpool vs Southampton
Saturday’s Premier League action draws to a close at Anfield as Liverpool play host to Southampton.
Southampton, despite having a fairly disappointing campaign on the whole, are now all but safe from relegation this term.
The Saints will head into the weekend’s action sat 15th in the table, 10 points clear of the bottom three with five games left to play.
Liverpool, though, still have it all to play for this term. If Jurgen Klopp’s side win their game in hand they would move to within four points of 4th place Chelsea.
And though it is hard to see them securing Champions League football next season, Jurgen Klopp and co. will no doubt be keen to ensure they are able to finish in the top-six.
Jurgen Klopp provides update on Jordan Henderson
Ahead of Saturday evening’s game, Jurgen Klopp would speak to the media on Friday.
When doing so, Klopp would provide a fairly positive update on Jordan Henderson.
The midfielder and Liverpool captain has not featured in the Premier League since the 20th of February.
However, when speaking about Henderson on Friday, Klopp confirmed that he is now running outside.
Klopp also added that the Liverpool squad has a few bumps and bruises:
“We have a few bumps and bruises so we have to wait. Hendo is running outside.”

Elsewhere, Nathaniel Phillips is also expected to be fit enough to face Southampton after missing the Reds’ previous two league games:
