Paris Saint-Germain pays tribute to Prince through a capsule collection around his 4th jersey.
Paris Saint-Germain has taken on a new marketing dimension in recent years and the number of collaborations that have multiplied in recent weeks is perfect proof of this. Launched last January, the fourth Jordan jersey will have attracted attention with its special design. Today, the club of the capital collaborates with Prince Estate and pays homage to the songwriter through this jersey.

To commemorate the world superstar Prince, PSG has teamed up with creative director Trevor Guy and designers Lori Marcuz and Cathy Robinson who worked with Prince between 2011 and 2016. This collaboration now leads to an exclusive collection which therefore includes the fourth Jordan jersey featuring the signature Prince symbol alongside hand-stitched metallic and gold leather overlays. There is also a purple t-shirt, a jogging set, a hoodie and finally a hat. All of these limited edition pieces were handcrafted in Toronto and mix design elements, materials and artistry that are iconic of the clothes Prince wore for his last 5 years.

In addition to the jersey and lifestyle sets, the Parisian club pays tribute to the “Prince of the Park” by launching an exclusive 45 rpm vinyl released in collaboration with Warner Records. It presents the hit songs of Prince “Partyman” but above all a new live version of the song “Cool”, from Prince’s last live performance in Paris at the Zénith on June 1, 2014. Prince was very attached to the city of light where he kept an apartment for many years. The child of Minneapolis gave many concerts in the French capital from the 1980s, so it is only natural that PSG pays tribute to him today.
Clothing like vinyl is sold in limited edition. The vinyl is already available by Drive at the Paris Saint-Germain Megastore and on the club’s online store. On the other hand, it will be necessary to wait until May 24 to get the capsule collection at the Champs-Elysées boutique, at the Megastore or on the online store.
