Romelu Lukaku’s future has seemingly been settled during a Twitter Q&A.
Faced with some spare time, the Belgian forward asked for questions from his 2.3million followers on the app, spending the next hour answering them.

From over 12,000 replies, Lukaku covered a wide array of topics, including the difference between the Premier League and Serie A, how he answers his critics and what his side do on the way to games.
What will interest most people, however, was what he said about his future.
Asked by ex-Manchester City player Trevor Sinclair if he “fancied the blue half of Manchester?”, Lukaku replied saying that “I am happy at Inter”.

The forward has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester City this summer after an impressive season in Serie A, where he scored 24 goals and provided 10 assists in 36 Serie A appearances.
And while he revealed earlier in the month that he had no intention of leaving, speculation persisted. Hopefully, confirmation from the horse’s mouth will put an end to those.

Lukaku thanks Conte:
Lukaku also revealed the influence of former manager Antonio Conte (who managed Inter Milan until one month ago), saying that:
“To be honest I never liked the back to goal play… until Antonio Conte made me see what it could do for the team! Also for myself!”

Despite Conte leaving Inter Milan on the back of their first league title since 2010, Lukaku also made clear that Inter will not simply fold next season, replying simply with “duhh” when asked if he felt they could compete for the title in 2021/22.

Inter Milan have seemingly wrapped up a deal for free-agent Hakan Calhanoglu, although question marks remain about the future of Achraf Hakimi, and the bigger question of whether Christian Eriksen will be able to play football again.
