Chris Sutton's three-word reaction as Rangers star is linked with Man Utd – originally posted on Sportslens.com
Manchester United want Rangers right-back and skipper James Tavernier, according to 90min, with Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion and Norwich City also said to be interested in bringing him back to the Premier League.
The Rangers star, 29, ended last season with 15 goals and 10 assists across all competitions, helping the Ibrox side win their 55th Scottish Premiership title.
Tavernier impressed in the domestic league and in the Europa League, and it seems he has attracted the Red Devils and co.
Celtic legend Chris Sutton is having none of those reports, though, reacting thus on Twitter:
This is unlikely… https://t.co/vEX1SguswI

Although the 29-year-old is unarguably the best right-back in the Scottish top-flight, the report linking him with an unlikely move to Man Utd is nothing but incredulous.
The Red Devils want Atletico Madrid right-back Kieran Trippier, but getting the England international is proving difficult and they see the Rangers man as a feasible target.
Arsenal have Tavernier on their radar with Hector Bellerin linked with an exit, Brighton want him with Tariq Lamptey struggling with injuries while Norwich City are preparing for the potential departure of Max Aarons.
Rangers surely have a battle on their hands if these Premier League quartet come knocking on their captain’s door.
The former Newcastle United defender penned a new three-year deal with Steven Gerrard’s side in April and does not look ready to return to England anytime soon.
