Jorginho’s agent has been discussing the future of the Chelsea midfielder recently.

The arrival of Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge has of course resulted in something of a squad shakeup.
Chelsea stars who were very much out of favour under Frank Lampard are now key cogs in the German’s machine.
One of the men to once again become a key figure since Tuchel’s arrival has been Jorginho.
The Italian has divided opinion at Chelsea since his arrival under Maurizio Sarri.
But Tuchel is clearly a fairly big fan of the 29-year-old. Jorginho would start in all of Chelsea’s Champions League knockout ties, barring one leg vs Atletico Madrid which he was suspended for.
He was also a pretty regular feature in the Premier League, being benched for just two of Tuchel’s league outings as Chelsea boss.

Jorginho staying at Chelsea?
Despite this, Jorginho’s future at Chelsea has been somewhat uncertain for a while now.
This has, for the most part, come due to comments on the part of the Italian’s agent.
Back in March, for example, Jorge Santos stated that if Napoli offered for his client, they would evaluate it:
“If Napoli will make an offer, we’ll evaluate it. He had a great time in Naples, and he has many friends over there.”
Now though, recent comments on the part of Santos should put to bed any potential speculation over Jorginho’s future, with his agent voicing his opinion Jorginho will stay at Chelsea next year:
“Jorginho is very well, he has won the Europa League and the Champions League and now the goal is to win the Euros.
“Yesterday [against Switzerland] he showed serious, proactive football with results.
“Obviously he won the Champions League and therefore there are enquiries from the main teams in Europe.
“But in my opinion he will stay at Chelsea next year because the next goal is to play the World Cup in Qatar with Italy.
“And by staying at Chelsea he has great chances of doing so.”
