England vs Scotland
England and Scotland are set to face off at Wembley on Friday, June 18th.
This meeting will be the first time the old rivals have gone head-to-head at a major tournament since all the way back at Euro 96, when the Three Lions came out on top with a 2-0 win.
England, after seeing off Croatia in their group opener – which was the first time they had won their first group game at the European Championships – will no doubt be brimming with confidence ahead of Friday.
And should they beat Scotland, their spot atop of Group D is all but guaranteed.
Scotland, meanwhile, marked their return to major tournament football with something of a whimper.
Steve Clarke’s side faced off with the Czech Republic, arguably their weakest opponent in Group D, and lost 2-0 thanks to a brace from Patrik Schick – the second of which is argubally the goal of the tournament so far:

Will Kieran Tierney be fit to face England
Scotland would have to face off with the Czech Republic without the services of Kieran Tierney.
The Arsenal defender has been key to Scotland’s success of late, but missed out on Monday due to injury.
So, Scotland fans are no doubt desperate to see Tierney return vs England this coming Friday.
Steve Clarke would be asked about Tierney’s chances of facing England following the defeat on Monday. And whilst the Scotland boss said he was hopeful, he also said he wouldn’t be getting too excited about it:
“Yeah, I’m hopeful, but I wouldn’t be getting too excited about it. We miss Kieran [no doubt about it].”
