England vs Scotland
England and Scotland are set to face off at Wembley on Friday, June 18th.
The meeting will mark the first time that the old rivals have gone head-to-head at a major tournament since all the way back at Euro 96, when the Three Lions came out on top with a 2-0 win.
England, after seeing off Croatia in their group opener – their first-ever opening day win at the European Championships – will no doubt be brimming with confidence ahead of Friday’s showdown.
Should they beat Scotland, the nation’s spot atop Group D will be all but guaranteed.
The Scots, on the other hand, marked their return to major tournament football with something of a whimper.
Steve Clarke’s side faced off with the Czech Republic, arguably their weakest opponent in Group D, and lost 2-0 following a brace from Patrik Schick.

Shaw & James in for Trippier & Walker vs Scotland
Ahead of the game, as mentioned above, some potential insight into England’s starting eleven for the game has been provided.
The information comes courtesy of the Telegraph, who report that Reece James and Luke Shaw are preparing to replace Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier in the full-back positions to give England more attacking threat vs Scotland.
Elsewhere, Tyrone Mings is expected to start at centre-back alongside John Stones despite Harry Maguire saying he is fit.
