The latest personnel news stemming from the French national national team camp has proven of an altogether mixed nature.

Bucharest showdown
Didier Deschamps’ men are set to get their Euro 2020 campaign back underway on Monday night.
Les Bleus, on the back of a somewhat hit-and-miss group stage showing – which saw them notch a win and two draws – have been tasked with a Last-16 meeting with Switzerland.
The Swiss also endured something of a mixed bag over the last couple of weeks, securing a share of the spoils versus Wales, before being thumped by Italy, and rounding things out with a crucial downing of Turkey.
Group stage performance aside, though, it goes without saying that France will be viewed as overwhelming favourites to book their spot in the quarter-finals, courtesy of a relatively straightforward victory at the National Arena.
Hernandez in, Digne out
One concern for an otherwise confident Bleus outfit ahead of Monday’s clash, however, has come on the personnel front.
Deschamps’ squad has been hit by something of an injury bug over the last week, with the situation at left-back having proven of particular concern. After Lucas Hernandez was ruled out of the country’s group stage closer vs Portugal, replacement Lucas Digne was too forced off, early in the 2nd-half.
If the latest images stemming from France’s training ground on Saturday are anything to go by, though, then at least one of their left-sided defensive options could well be available against Switzerland.
As per Get French Football News, Lucas Hernandez has returned to full training. The Bayern Munich man has been joined by Thomas Lemar, too.
The aforementioned Digne, along with both Marcus Thuram and the freshly injured Jules Kounde, however, look altogether unlikely to recover in time for Monday’s clash.
Jules Koundé has a hamstring problem, but Lucas Hernandez & Thomas Lemar are back in full training for France – Lucas Digne & Marcus Thuram certainly out vs Switzerland. https://t.co/pk09bP6bXD
