After an exceptional season punctuated by two unfortunate defeats against Nantes in the Ligue 1 play-offs, the Toulouse residents had little time to recharge their batteries and are already back in training to prepare for the 2021-2022 season. For this new start, the TFC can count on its new equipment supplier Craft, which has just unveiled its new tunics for the upcoming Ligue 2 campaign.
After having been equipped by Joma since the 2015-2016 season, the club of the pink city engaged with the Swedish brand Craft last January. Historically, the TFC has always sported purple jerseys at the Toulouse Stadium while tunics worn outside tend to be pink or white. As promised when signing the contract with the club, the Swedish equipment manufacturer today unveils personalized jerseys with reference to the city, the club and the Toulouse community.
Obviously purple, the new Pitchouns home jersey pays tribute to the Occitan region by using the Occitan cross which is a real icon and which we found from the 11th century on the coats of arms of the Counts of Toulouse. This cross has been in place on the club crest for many years. It is on the left part of the jersey that this pattern is presented in tone on tone while the right part of the jersey is simply purple. A touch of pink acts as the center line as the outfit is complemented with white featured on the sponsor jersey and the Craft logo.
To imagine the new TFC jerseys, the Swedish brand took the diction saying that Toulouse is “The pink city where blood flows purple” literally since unlike last season when Amine Adli and his teammates wore a yellow tunic on the outside, it’s a pink tunic with a hint of purple that awaits Tef ‘players this season. The away jersey has exactly the same design as the main tunic. Only the colors are reversed so this time, it is a purple line that separates the two parts of the jersey with the patterns of the Occitan cross on the right side.
