RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka is extremely interested in joining Premier League side Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has been in exciting form this season, scoring 27 goals in just 28 Austrian Bundesliga matches, becoming one of Salzburg’s best talents.
Daka looks destined for a big move elsewhere in European football as he reportedly seeks a move away from the Austrian side this summer.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal have all been linked with a move for Daka but it now seems like Liverpool could be leading the race for his signature.
Football Insider claims that Daka is ‘very keen’ to move to Anfield and ‘Liverpool have made contact about what it would take to lure Daka in the current window’.
The Zambian has three years left on his contract at the Red Bull Arena and ‘it is likely to cost around £17million’ if the Reds want to sign him this summer.
It is understood that Daka has already ‘snubbed the possibility of a move to either West Ham or French club Monaco’ and wants to play for a club competing in the Champions League next season.
Jurgen Klopp is looking ‘to recruit a number nine who can provide quality and competition for Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohammad Salah and Diogo Jota’.
Meanwhile, Porto are leading the chase to sign Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic after a successful loan spell at the club last season.
The 25-year-old’s two Carabao Cup appearances for the Reds last autumn were his first for the club since December 2017 before he moved to the Estadio do Dragao.
Grujic has spent the majority of his five years at Liverpool on loan to Cardiff, Hertha Berlin and Porto and the club are happy to offload him this summer.
The PA news agency understands the Portuguese club are favourites to sign him as they have been talking to the Reds about a permanent deal for some time.
However, they are believed to have to sell in order to buy and that may open the door to interest from clubs in Germany and Italy.
