Arsenal amongst clubs linked with Bissouma
Yves Bissouma has so far notched 96 appearances across all competitions for Graham Potter’s Brighton.
The 24-year-old is confident with the ball at his feet, and more than capable of picking it up from deep to either take players on, or pick out the right pass to a teammate. Bissouma is also a progressive passer who generally avoids the sideways option.
And, at the other end of the pitch, the midfielder’s work rate and stamina allow him to get back and help out defensively.
As part of the current Brighton system, Bissouma is generally fielded as the more defensive-minded central midfield option, alongside the likes of Adam Lallana or Pascal Gross, and has long excelled in his role.
Such fine form for a fairly average side, though, has inevitably begun to pique the interest of superior clubs.
Recent reports have suggested that all of Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the Malian.
Bissouma’s Instagram story
Now, as mentioned above, some transfer activity on the part of the midfielder has worked Arsenal fans up into a frenzy.
Taking to his official Instagram on Tuesday, Bissouma posted a story sharing an image posted by his friend, who goes by the name ‘wilyfit_8’ on Instagram.
The pair feature in a recent image on wilyfit_8’s Instagram together in a lift, suggesting they have a fairly close relationship.
In wilyfit_8’s most recent post though, which Bissouma shared to his story, there is an Arsenal badge very much visible:

Now, this has led to a fair bit of excitement on social media from Gunners fans, with some seemingly of the opinion it is a sign Bissouma will join Arsenal.
Don’t do that mate, I so excited now!
