After its historic season and its Ligue 1 title won in front of Paris Saint-Germain, LOSC wants to ride on its success and is on all fronts from a marketing point of view. After having notably unveiled a vintage capsule collection with Copa, the Lille club is moving up a gear and presenting its new home jersey designed by New Balance.
The Mastiffs have been equipped by the Boston brand since the start of the 2016-2017 season and after a first historic tribute with the reintroduction of a white jersey at home, NB returned to the classic by unveiling red jerseys whose designs have changed. every year. For the 2021-2022 campaign, Burak Yilmaz and his partners will try to defend their championship title with a tunic with an urban and graphic look where the red has rarely been so intense.
Unlike the last two seasons where it took an important place on the main tunic of LOSC, the blue is this time quite discreet and only appears on the club crest, the end of the sleeves and the collar. This modern and elegant tunic is inspired by emblematic places in Lille, and particularly La Citadelle according to the club’s press release. This ultra intense red swimsuit is enriched with metallic silver tint ornaments which bring a unique style with a graphic resembling a honeycomb which therefore takes place on the entire front part of this tunic.
The club management has been satisfied and proud with the rendering of the new shirt, now hoping that it will please the supporters as well. “2020 has been a particularly difficult year, but the love and support of the fans has continued to inspire and motivate the players. The new home kit is sublime and for us it will be a special season to play as champions at Stade Pierre Mauroy. We hope that fans will appreciate these new colors and wear them with pride ”, explained the President of LOSC Olivier Létang.
