Repeat on the cards?
The start of the highly-anticipated rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament is of course now just around the corner.
After being postponed last summer amid the global issues brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, European football’s most prestigious international competition will get underway in a little over three weeks’ time.
A host of nations will head into the action with their eyes firmly on eventual glory, with the likes of France, Italy, Spain and England all boasting impressive individual talent in their ranks.

It is another, though, who will enter the Euros with the most to lose.
The country in question? Portugal.
The Selecção of course defied the odds five years ago, to clinch glory at the most recent edition of the European Championships.
A wonderful team effort on the part of Fernando Santos’ men – during which talisman Cristiano Ronaldo was famously forced to limp out at the final hurdle in a showpiece meeting with hosts France – eventually saw surprise hero Eder come up trumps, en route to a historic triumph.
Wolves heavily represented
And, as outlined above, on Thursday, the squad of players set to go about replicating the heroics of their 2016 counterparts has been unveiled.
A 26-man panel brimming with talent has been selected by boss Santos, with Premier League influences throughout.
Wolves quartet Rui Patricio, Nelson Semedo, Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves are all named, alongside Manchester City stars Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva.
There are also spots for the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Jota, with veteran leadership set to be provided by the rejuvenated Jose Fonte, Porto stalwart Pepe and the evergreen Cristiano Ronaldo.
