Willock scores again
The future of Joe Willock has very much been a debate amongst the Arsenal supporters. It has certainly been affected by the brilliant form for Newcastle United whom he joined on loan in January.
He scored yet again today in the 1-0 win over Sheffield United.
Yet another header from a cross as the 21-year-old continues to make his presence felt in the penalty box.

Steve Bruce has only spoken highly of Willock and would like to see him stay.
“There’s a lot of conversations to be had but why wouldn’t we want to sign him? He’s 21, he’s young, fit, athletic, he can score a goal and he’s got wonderful pace. Arguably Joe is as quick as anyone at this club,” he said.
Willock to ‘consider Newcastle
No matter what the Newcastle boss says, ultimately the decision on Willock’s future will come down to him.
Upon returning to Arsenal he will have a decision to make and will seek assurances from Mikel Arteta that he has a future at Arsenal.
Arteta has said that he will be assessed ahead of his return.
“He has a chance,” Arteta replied when asked if Willock would see time in the team should he return.
“He is a player we really like so at the end of the season he will come back here and then we will make the decision again for what is best to move forward.”
Willock though did say that he would be willing to ‘consider’ a future at Newcastle having made ‘friends for life’ since his arrival.
“I’m not sure. I need need to have a conversation and see what the best move for me is. I’ve made friends for life & made a really big connection with the fans. It’s one of my options and I am going to consider it,” he said.

Now 21, Willock counts in Arsenal’s homegrown quota which has been drawn into increased focus of late and certainly makes him a more valuable asset.
