Videos: Chaos ahead of Man United vs Liverpool as Glazer Out protesters swarm pitch after breaking into Old Trafford

Incredible scenes are in the process of unfolding at Old Trafford this evening, as the Manchester United faithful continue to make their feelings with the club’s owners clear.

Reds showdown

The marquee fixture of the Premier League weekend is due to play out at the Theatre of Dreams shortly.

The matchup in question will see rivalries renewed, as Man United play host to Liverpool.

Hosts United head into proceedings with little other than pride to play for, having all but locked up 2nd place in the English top-flight table.

Jurgen Klopp’s visitors, on the other hand, have it all to play for, amid the club’s battle to climb back into the top-4, and secure Champions League football for next season.

A victory for Liverpool, though, would actually prove somewhat bittersweet, in making official the Reds surrendering their champion status to table-toppers Manchester City.

Chaos in Manchester

As outlined above, however, despite the potentially significant ramifications of this evening’s matchup on the Premier League table, it is not the upcoming 90 minutes which have taken centre stage online on Sunday.

Instead, it is the latest round of protests held by the Manchester United faithful, against the club’s owners.

After doing similarly ahead of their meeting with Leeds United last weekend, the Red Devils faithful have flooded to Old Trafford this afternoon, to call for owner Joel Glazer to step down.

This of course comes amid a concerted push on the part of fans of England’s ‘big six’ to bring about change, on the back of the failed European Super League proposal:

Incredibly, those in attendance have even managed to make their way into the stadium and onto the Old Trafford pitch, just hours before United’s meeting with Liverpool is due to get underway:
