Chelsea vs Arsenal
Wednesday evening will see London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal face off at Stamford Bridge.
The tie is of little importance to Arsenal, who currently sit five points adrift of 6th place Liverpool having played one more game.
As a result, their season is all but over, with nothing left to play for on Wednesday other than pride.
Chelsea, meanwhile, still have it all to play for this term, with Champions League football still not quite secured for the forthcoming campaign.
At present, the Blues are 3rd in the English top-flight on 64 points, but 5th place West Ham can still technically catch them, with a six-point gap between the sides with three games left to play.
Tuchel provides Christensen & Kovacic updates
Ahead of Wednesday’s game, Thomas Tuchel held his latest press conference on Tuesday.
When speaking to the media, the German provided updates on both Andreas Christensen and Mateo Kovacic.
Kovacic has missed the Londoners’ last eight games across all competitions and is once again set to be sidelined against Arsenal:
“He’s not ready for tomorrow. The race is postponed to make it to the squad for Wembley”
Christensen, meanwhile, came off at half-time over the weekend vs Manchester City, with Tuchel confirming on Tuesday that they hope the defender can be back for one of their two meetings with Leicester City. The first of which is the FA Cup final on May 15th, with a league outing then taking place between the pair three days later.
