Spurs to meet Ten Hag
With Mourinho gone and targets disappearing, Spurs have seemingly turned their attentions to Ajax’s Erik ten Hag.
Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Spurs will have a ‘direct meeting’ with Ten Hag over the position.
Tottenham have scheduled a ‘direct meeting’ with Erik ten Hag. He’s among the candidates to become the new Spurs manager – ten Hag is open to leave Ajax in the summer. Nothing decided yet. ⚪️ #THFC #Spurs

Ten Hag previously said that he is fully focused on the season with Ajax but did little to commit his long-term future to the Dutch side.
“I am concerned with Ajax and not with other developments. I still have a contract for one year and am really enjoying myself here. We are building a team that is ready to compete with the big teams in Europe,” he said.
Ten Hag took Ajax to the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2019 before being knocked out in the final seconds by Spurs.
RB Leipzig announce Marsch as Nagelsmann replacement
Since the announcement that Julian Nagelsmann would not be joining Spurs and instead becoming Bayern Munich’s new head coach, who would take the job in Leipzig has been a quandary.
It was then announced today officially that Red Bull Salzburg coach Jesse Marsch would take over at the start of next season.
Despite links to Wolfsburg’s Oliver Glasner, Oliver Mintzlaff confirmed that Marsch had always been the main target.
“In Jesse Marsch, we have been able to recruit our main head coach target and quickly fill the most important position in the sporting side of the club with a top coach,” said club CEO Mintzlaff.
“Jesse has been part of the Red Bull football group for over six years now and has done incredible work in all his roles so far, constantly developing step-by-step. It’s of course a great advantage that he already worked for a year at RB Leipzig.
“Jesse knows the club, the city of Leipzig and, above all, the club and playing philosophy. Alongside his qualities as a coach, Jesse is characterised above all by his positively ambitious style, which he uses to motivate and engage the people and around the club.
“We’re looking forward to working with Jesse Marsch and to continuing our successful path with him.”
Marsch helped Red Bull Salzburg become an established Champions League side and to develop talents in the first team such as Erling Haaland, Dominik Szoboszlai and Hee-Chan Hwang.
