Which are the 5 best home kits at Euro 2020?
Euro 2020 is just around the corner, and it’s time to consider the fashion on show this summer.
Who will look the smartest while trying to win Europe’s top footballing honor for their nation?
Here at 101, we’ve considered the home strips at Euro 2020, and we’ve whittled down our 5 best home kits at Euro 2020, as follows:
5) Finland
Finland Euro kit is so nice, it’s really clean and that golden swoosh is amazing. pic.twitter.com/cPVd6AzAUh

2010 was a year to remember for Finnish football. A trio of icons of football in Finland all retired from the national team having never competed at an international tournament. Jonatan Johansson, Sami Hyypiä, and the legendary Jari Litmanen made a combined 349-appearances for Huuhkajat while Litmanen, the gifted playmaker who famously made his name at Dutch giants Ajax from 1992-99, ended his career as his nations leading scorer.
But Finland has gone one step further as time has passed, and has qualified for their first-ever major tournament. How do you look the part when you’re one of the new debutants at the ball? By simply being Finnish.

Their home kit which pays appropriate homage to the nation’s flag looks clean yet elegant. Beauty in simplicity, which every Finn I know approves of a great deal.
Headlined by Norwich’s Teemu Pukki and his chance to equal or better Litmanen’s goal record, Finland will certainly look to steal hearts at Euro 2020 and look good while doing it.
4) Belgium

As much as I would like to say that the fact that my significant other is Belgian is the reason De Rode Duivels have made the top-five, that would be all too easy and just a little cliché.
The truth is, this kit looks smart and pays homage to a national team in Belgium that is yearning for success at the highest level but has yet to find it. They may top the FIFA rankings just ahead of joint-tournament favorites France, but success on the international still eludes them despite the level of players the lowlands nation continues to produce.
Somebody gift me this Belgium’s kit.

Euro 2020 could be the year for Belgium, though, and sit atop the international rankings on merit. Headlined by Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, along with a wealth of talent across a vaunted expected starting XI under Roberto Martinez, the brushstroke pattern in the shape of a B across the deep red kit is the perfect way to symbolize the nations desire to impose their artistry on the European and global game.
Having never won a major international tournament unlike their neighbors the French, Dutch, and Germans, Belgium’s current golden generation has all the ingredients to change that.
3) Slovakia
Have a lot of time for Italy home as it was my 1st Euro 2020 buy last May (the whole Lovell Soccer balls up ) but numero uno is Slovakia home .. chefs ! pic.twitter.com/1Dqbg568kl

As the nation’s all-time leader in goals and caps, Marek Hamšík has been the face and hope of football in Slovakia since his professional debut for domestic giants Slovan Bratislava at the age of fifteen. Fast-forward to Euro 2020 this summer, and Hamšík has featured at both of Slovakia’s only appearances at international tournaments; World Cup 2010, and Euro 2016.
Not much is expected of Slovakia or Hamšík, whose star was once at its peak when he was one of Europe’s most dangerous creative players during his 12-years with Napoli. But at least he will close the book on his international journey in style.
1st – Slovakia Away (128pts)
The winner of my shirt of the tournament is this beauty for Slovakia.
The blue works brilliantly, the pattern inspired by mountains is stunning, everything on it works amazingly.
A deserved winner. pic.twitter.com/e0pTI5e45z

Slovakia was drawn into Group E with giants Spain, and capable duo Sweden and Poland. Despite the expectations of them struggling to net a single win this summer, Slovakia’s home kit is quite similar to Hertha Berlin’s away strip of the past 2020-21 Bundesliga campaign, and that is no bad thing at all.
The complex camouflage-looking dark blue/blue top is quite slick and if the popularity of Hertha’s is anything to go by, Slovakia will at least look the part.
2) Netherlands

The Netherlands is one of the most storied footballing institutions in the world. From Johan Cruijff to Wesley Sneijder, and dozens of landscape-shifting players in between, the Dutch have left their mark forever on football.
Unfortunately for Oranje, however, they have just one international honor to show for it; Euro 1988. Led by the incomparable Marco van Basten, both West Germany and the Soviet Union fell at their feet. But despite their storied win in ’88, the Netherlands have truly been international footballs nearly men, finishing a combined fourteen times between runner-up and fourth-place across their rich competitive history.

The intricate lion design that dominates the kit that bears a lion on the crest is a beautiful – almost stain-glass looking – piece of work.
The rest? Classic Netherlands. Black trim perfectly accentuates the dominant orange color that is so famous and so unique to football.
In an era where kits are becoming more and more complex and filled with artistic expression, this does a wonderful job of keeping in line with the symbology of a great footballing name.
1) Denmark
– The fans have sung their way on to the new @dbulandshold jersey. Because it looks just like they sound, when they’re standing shoulder by shoulder and singing for their country

Much like the Netherlands, Denmark has long been a name in the European game but has languished in the international doldrums for going on three decades.
Between 1884 and 1992, Denmark was at the forefront of the beautiful game on the continent. A run to the semi-finals in ’84 was bettered in ’92 when they unexpectedly won the tournament and stripping holders the Netherlands after beating them in the semi-finals before toppling another giant in a reunified Germany.
Gone are the days of the Laudrup brothers, but the countries passion for football – and its ability to keep the pipeline open – remains strong.
How do Danish company and traditional national team kit provider Hummel speak to the passion for football in Denmark? By including the fans.
The kit itself does a wonderful job of reimaging those memorable days where Michael and Brian conquered Europe and elevated their careers to the highest level.

Thousands of fans gathered at Parken Stadium. They’re singing the Danish National Anthem. And that’s exactly what the new @dbulandshold jersey is made of ⚽

What makes this the best kit at Euro 2020? The imposed graphic of the soundwave generated by Danish supporters singing their national anthem at Parken Stadium.
There could not be a more fitting tribute to those that live and breathe football in cities like Copenhagen, Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg, and Esbjerg and the surrounding regions. That is what football is all about.
