Liverpool vs Crystal Palace
Liverpool are currently locked in Premier League action vs Crystal Palace at Anfield.
The tie was of little importance to the visitors ahead of kick-off, though the Eagles were no doubt keen to see Roy Hodgson end his time with the club on the back of a positive result.
Liverpool, on the other hand, had it all to play for on Sunday, having begun the day in 4th, but with Leicester City only behind them on goal difference.
So, to ensure their spot in next season’s Champions League, Jurgen Klopp and co. needed to pick up all three points on Sunday.
Mane joins exclusive Liverpool club
And, at the time of writing, that is exactly what Liverpool are on course to do.
The deadlock was broken by the hosts after 36 minutes, when Sadio Mane poked home from a corner:
MASSIVE GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL! ?

And, as well as marking a potentially huge goal for Liverpool in their hunt for Champions League football, Mane’s latest strike also saw him join an exclusive Reds club.
As revealed by Opta, the Senegalese is only the second player to score 10+ Premier League goals in five consecutive seasons for Liverpool. Michael Owen, who did so in seven campaigns in a row between 1997-98 and 2003-04, is the only other player to have achieved the feat:
