Tottenham vs Wolves
Tottenham are set to face of with Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
Heading into the game Wolves have essentially nothing to play for as they are currently sat 12th in the Premier League, unable to be relegated over secure a European place.
Spurs, on the other hand, are still firmly in the hunt to secure a Europa League spot.
The Lilywhites are sat 7th ahead of the weekend’s games. However, they are only above 8th on goal difference and just two points adrift of 6th, meaning they cannot really afford to drop any points this weekend.
That may prove easier said than done though as Wolves have lost just one in five, whilst Spurs were no doubt concerned about their recent 3-1 loss to Leeds United.
Ryan Mason on Ben Davies
Ahead of Sunday’s game, Ryan Mason spoke to the media on Friday afternoon.
When doing so, the interim boss discussed a number of topics including injuries and fitness.
Ben Davies is unlikely to play for Spurs again this season, whilst Mason believes that their squad is fit enough despite claims suggesting they may not be:
#thfc Mason says he would “be surprised” if Ben Davies plays again this season but says too early to make a call on the Euros. Mason also dismissed suggestions that the squad is unfit – “Fitness isn’t at issue for our group at all.”

Nuno Santo also spoke to the media on Friday and had this to say on his squad:
“We have some players coming back, we have some problems. It’s the end of the season and we have to be very careful with our decisions. “We have to realise our players have to compete in the national teams, (so need to avoid playing) too much.”
