Ek writes to Kroenke
The possible Arsenal takeover is a story which has gripped Gunners fans across the globe.
As is the desperation of many of the fanbase to see the current ownership headed up by Stan Kroenke leave the club, any news of a possible takeover is welcomed with outstretched arms.
The Sportify co-founder Daniel Ek confirmed his desire to move forward with a bid for the club last week.

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has published on social media that Ek has now written to KSE to let them know of an intent to buy the club.
‘Daniel Ek has written to Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke to tell him he wants to buy the club. Ek will make a bid of £1.8bn before the end of the week. Ek is hoping Kroenke will listen to what he has to say and consider his offer. If the offer is rejected it will be left on the table.’ he wrote.

Whether the initial bid will be accepted will take some time although the Kroenkes have said outright they will not entertain offers for Arsenal.
Henry confirms fan-oriented move
Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has confirmed that the bid is incoming from Ek.
He spoke on Sky Sports about how it was important to re-establish the Arsenal DNA and also associate the fans more with the running of the club.
“He approached us, we listened to him, when we knew first and foremost that he wanted to involve the fans we actually met the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust and told them what we wanted to do; bring them back on board,” he said.
“He wants to reinject the Arsenal DNA, the identity that is long gone. You don’t have Arsenal people there among the board that can sometimes show the right direction and that is what Daniel wants to do.
“He already said he collected the funds so he can make sure he can make a good bid. Now obviously they need to listen and see what they can do.”
🗣”We are trying to offer a solution involving the fans and the DNA back of the club.”

Patrick Vieira and Dennis Bergkamp are also said to be involved in the Ek bid and would help guide the club back to where it needs to be in regards to competitiveness and identity.
