Silva in demand
Andre Silva has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, so far this summer.

The Portuguese forward, who currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt, has enjoyed a brilliant season, netting 28 goals and providing a further 8 assists in just 32 Bundesliga games across 2020/21.
Still only 25, Silva had to recover from a disappointing spell at AC Milan, where he netted just twice in 25 Serie A appearances. However, he has led the Frankfurt line admirably this season, helping his club to a fifth-placed finish in the Bundesliga.
Perhaps more telling of Silva’s contribution was the number of goals Frankfurt scored. Their 69 strikes was the third-best in the division, behind just Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
RB Leipzig leading the race
Despite Premier League interest, it seems as if the Portuguese striker is set to remain in the Bundesliga if reports are to believed.
According to German publication Bild, Frankfurt are set to sell Silva to rivals RB Leipzig, who finished above them last season.
Breaking: Frankfurt striker André Silva is set to join RB Leipzig, according to @BILD_Sport! €23m fee plus significant agent fees, signing-on fee & €4m/year wages. Deal all but done #SGE #RBL https://t.co/VjvbvExWPl

Three substitute appearances at Euro 2020 will have done little to have added to his value, but the 23 million euro fee quoted by Bild remains well below the marksman’s value (as per transfermarkt), which sits at 40.5 million pounds (47 million euros).
However, in the current economic climate, and with no concrete interest coming from other clubs, this may be the amount that Frankfurt will have settle for.
