Chelsea see off Leicester
Chelsea faced off with Leicester City in a Premier League meeting on Tuesday evening.
The tie was a huge one for both sides in their race to secure a Champions League berth for next season.
It would be the Londoners who heading into the meeting down in 4th, two points behind Leicester.
When all was said and done, though, Thomas Tuchel’s side were able to pick up a huge win and leapfrog Leicester in the table, with the Foxes now in danger of slipping out the top-four on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea would open the scoring on Tuesday shortly after the break via Antonio Rudiger.

Jorginho then added a second from the spot, with a late Kelechi Iheanacho strike not enough to rescue anything for the visitors.

Tuchel provides N’Golo Kante update
On an otherwise positive evening, Chelsea did look to be dealt one blow when N’Golo Kante was taken off inside the first 45.
With the Champions League final just around the corner, Chelsea fans were no doubt seriously concerned when their star midfielder was taken off so early.
However, when speaking about Kante post-match, Tuchel claimed that the former Leicester man is not injured, but he may have been had he continued to play on Tuesday:
“N’Golo is not injured. He told me – and I understood him right in French – he went out before an injury. He felt his hamstrings and was worried that he would get injured if he continued to play. So we put Kova in and that was a risk because he was more or less on the bench for 20 minutes, but he played 60.
“We took some risks but it was the moment to take risks as it was a game of the highest importance at the end of the season. I am happy it worked out. Hopefully, NG will come back as we are a different team with NG and without NG. We compensated very well without him today.”
