New look Blues
Of course, the kits donned by Premier League giants Chelsea at Stamford Bridge rarely change all that much, year on year.
Some form of a plain blue base, accompanied by white trimmings, can generally be expected.
In 2021/22, however, the Pensioners are set to shake things up.
As revealed by the reliable Footy Headlines, the first series of product photos of Chelsea’s new-look home kit have, this evening, surfaced.
The shirt will feature a brand new design, with a partial zigzag pattern in different shades of blue, accompanied by a chequered section of a similar colour pattern.
The club’s badge and Three logo will remain as expected, but further changes are forthcoming along the seams, and in the Nike tick – both of which are set to take on a yellow colour.

City showdown
Whilst the Blues’ fresh look takes centre stage on Thursday, this weekend, Thomas Tuchel and co. will of course turn their attentions very much back towards matters on the pitch.
This comes with Chelsea set to make the trip to the Etihad, for a crunch Premier League meeting with Manchester City.
The visitors will be desperate for all three points, in a bid to maintain their spot in the English top-flight’s top-4.
City, though, are aware that a victory of their own would see them finally set the club’s long overdue title celebrations in motion.
Coincidentally, the two clubs will then face off again in three weeks’ time, after Chelsea and City booked their spots in the Champions League final courtesy of respective midweek victories over Real Madrid and PSG.
