Sancho interest cooled by United
The rise of Mason Greenwood has been a tricky one after the issues relating to the trip to Iceland at the start of the season with England.
However, his performances have shown a clear intent to move on and focus on his playing days.
The club have now been so impressed by Greenwood that initial interest in their previous targets has changed.

Manchester Evening News suggest that the club have significantly cooled their interest in long-term target Jadon Sancho.
United no longer deem Jadon Sancho a priority, partially because of Greenwood. He is their standout right ‘winger’ and offers better balance in the attack. Paul Pogba has been talismanic from the left, Cavani is – in this form – a world-class number nine and Bruno Fernandes is untouchable. So is Rashford. So far.
Greenwood could now be in with a chance to challenge the likes of Bukayo Saka for a place back in Gareth Southgate’s Euro squad for the summer.
Dortmund’s gentleman agreement with Sancho
Borussia Dortmund will be delighted to hear the news however Sancho much less so.
It was confirmed by club executive Michael Zorc that there is a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ that Sancho could leave for a fee appropriate to BVB.
“We already had a gentlemen’s agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions,” Zorc said.

“He’s been with us for a couple of years. However, this agreement does not exist with Erling [Haaland].”
There are still interested parties though such as Chelsea and Liverpool.
The clubs supposedly see Sancho as a serious investment which is worth it based upon his serious sell-on value and development trajectory.
Sancho was again involved for BVB in their crucial 3-2 win over RB Leipzig in the race to secure Champions League football for next season.
