Maguire makes Neville XI, not Carragher’s
With the campaign drawing to a close it is time for pundits, fans and fellow playing staff to start putting together their teams of the season.
Sky Sports’ duo Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher on yesterday’s Monday Night Football revealed their picks.
Gary Neville went with a heavily Manchester themed side which contained the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford & Harry Maguire.
Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias completed the back four whilst Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden were further City additions.
Harry Kane and Edouard Mendy were the only players from outside the Manchester clubs.

Meanwhile, Carragher went with a team with more club diversity.
6 sides featured as the pundit agreed with Neville on Dias, Shaw, Fernandes, De Bruyne, Foden and Kane.
However, there were spots for Aston Villa keeper Emi Martinez, West Ham’s Vladimir Coufal, Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, Spurs’ Heung-min Son and Man City’s John Stones.

What will please many fans is the high inclusion of the amount of England players ahead of the European Championships this summer.
Maguire’s race for the final
However, Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and England manager Gareth Southgate will be sweating on the fitness of Harry Maguire as he faces a number of weeks on the sidelines as he fights to return for a Europa League final and the Euros later on.
Solskjaer was not precise in his estimates after the match against Villa in which he sustained the injury.
“The boy [El Ghazi] landed on top of him and he twisted his ankle,” Solskjaer said.
“Harry has been excellent and it’s almost unheard of, the minutes he’s played without missing him.
“We’ve a [Europa League] final to look forward to and hopefully it will be with Harry; it might be a few weeks, it might be a couple of days, we don’t know. Hopefully it won’t be too bad, but I’m not a doctor, and we’ve got to scan him on Monday.
“He may be available on Thursday [against Liverpool], but I don’t know, it might be longer. I’ll tell you more on Thursday.”
In his stead, Eric Bailly is the likely choice but Man United play Leicester tonight before another single day of recovery ahead of facing Liverpool.
The fixture schedule is heavy and there are even suggestions that Maguire could miss the rest of the Premier League season.
Solskjaer and Southgate will be keeping everything crossed for a swift recovery.
