Bruno Fernandes impressing with Man United
The signing of Bruno Fernandes has proven to be one of the best bits of business Manchester United have done in years.
The Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford from Sporting CP in January of 2020, and has since gone on to completely dominate the English top-flight.
Fernandes, of course, played a key role in United securing a Champions League berth last term.
And the midfield maestro has once again been in top form this season.
In total, Fernandes has netted 27 and assisted 17 in 54 outings across all competitions, with his starring recent display against AS Roma in the Europa League semi-finals a particular highlight:

Fernandes set for new Man United deal?
Now, it appears that Fernandes is to be rewarded with a new Man United contract, just over a year after signing for the club.
The 26-year-old’s current deal in Manchester runs until 2025, with the option of an extra year believed to be included.
Despite such terms, though, the Sun are reporting this weekend that Fernandes will be offered a double-your-money contract, to extend his stay at Old Trafford after the Europa League final.
It is added that United’s chiefs are expected to meet with their midfield star’s representatives before the start of the European Championships.
