Leicester City have clinched yet another impressive deal on the transfer market, according to widespread reports on Thursday afternoon.

Rodgers’ reinforcements
Those in positions of power at the King Power Stadium have of course been widely hailed for their work on the personnel front once again this summer.
This comes as the Foxes continue towards building a squad capable of competing with the giants of the Premier League on a yearly basis.
Just 24 hours ago, Leicester confirmed that a deal has been struck for the arrival of highly regarded attacker Patson Daka.
The 22-year-old, fresh off the back of a 34-goal, 12-assist season with Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, has put pen to paper on a long-term contract in the East Midlands:
We can confirm that exciting young striker @PatsonDaka20 will join the Club on a five-year-deal from 1 July, subject to Premier League and international clearance 🦊#WelcomePatson

Swiftly following Daka’s arrival, meanwhile, is expected to be another high-profile reinforcement to Brendan Rodgers’ squad, in the form of Boubakary Soumare.
A deal is reported to be in place for the midfielder – fresh off the back of clinching the Ligue 1 title with Lille – to make the move to the King Power over the weeks ahead.
Saints star incoming
And, as outlined above, on Thursday, Leicester’s recruitment drive has kicked up another notch.
As per a report from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Foxes have beaten out the competition to reach an agreement with Ryan Bertrand, following the expiration of his contract with Southampton.
The ex-Chelsea full-back is set to commit to a two-year deal, containing the option for a 3rd, with an official announcement expected to be forthcoming imminently:
Ryan Bertrand to Leicester, done deal and here we go! Total agreement reached, signing a contract until June 2023 [one year option included until 2024]. 🔵🦊 #LCFC
After many approaches/bids, Bertrand will be officially announced as new Leicester player in the next days.
