Antonio Conte’s Inter have of course proven the driving force in the Italian top-flight across the season to date.
Having put their inconsistencies of years gone by firmly behind them, the Nerazzurri went on to take full advantage of the struggles of Juventus under Andrea Pirlo.
A 2-0 victory at Crotone on Saturday evening guided Inter to an impressive 82-point haul, a full 14 points clear of the chasing pack at the Serie A summit.
In turn, the Milanese giants were aware that, if Atalanta dropped points at Sassuolo this afternoon, the club’s decade-long wait for a league title would finally be brought to an end.
And, when all was said and done at the Mapei Stadium, drop points is precisely what La Dea went on to do.
As a result, Inter Milan have officially reestablished themselves as the kings of Italian football, bringing an end to the long-standing dominance of arch rivals Juventus.

‘Well done to Inter’
Whilst Antonio Conte and co. get the celebrations underway on the blue half of Milan, dethroned champions Juve, on the other hand, return to action this evening, aiming to keep the club’s top-4 hopes alive with a victory at Udinese.
Ahead of the clash getting underway, though, the Bianconeri were keen to send a message of congratulations to Inter.
Across the club’s social media platforms, Juventus posted the following:
Well done to @Inter_en on winning the 2020/21 Serie A title.

Bianconeri chief Fabio Paratici, meanwhile, also sent out a personal message, confirming his belief that former boss Conte’s men were worthy Scudetto winners:
