Presnel Kimpembe (25) is fixed. Logically expelled on Sunday, during the draw between PSG and Stade Rennais (1-1) at Roazhon Park, for having dried Jérémy Doku (18), the Breton club striker, the French international was sentenced to three games suspension, plus a suspended sentence, by the disciplinary committee of the LFP. The verdict is hardly surprising and it means that the French center-back’s season could be over with Paris Saint-Germain.
Presnel Kimbembe, who will play Euro 2020 with the France team this summer, will miss the reception of the Stade de Reims in Ligue 1 (J37) as well as the trip to Brest for the final championship meeting (J38), but also the Coupe de France semi-final in Montpellier (Wednesday, 9 p.m.). The international tricolor could return to the Stade de France on May 19 if PSG qualifies.
