Chelsea & Liverpool ‘very much in picture’ for Jadon Sancho

Sancho’s Dortmund stint

Since making the switch to Borussia Dortmund in 2017, Jadon Sancho has showcased his ability as one of the brightest young talents in world football.

2019/20 saw the former Manchester City man net a staggering 20 goals and provide 20 assists in 44 outings across all competitions.

And, though Dortmund have struggled a fair bit this term, Sancho has still managed to net 12 and provide 18 assists in just 34 ties so far this season.

Premier League sides eyeing Sancho

For some time, it was of course Manchester United who were showing the most interest in Sancho, with reports earlier on Monday suggesting that the Red Devils are still showing an interest in the winger.

That same report claimed that BVB may now be willing to sell Sancho for around €85-€90m.

It is not just United, though, who look to be keeping an eye on Sancho’s situation.

According to Sport Witness, citing German outlet Bild, both Liverpool and Chelsea are now very much in the picture to sign Sancho.

Said clubs are said to believe that Sancho has everything needed to make him a superstar, with the feeling being he can be one of the world’s top footballers in the coming years.

Though nothing is mentioned in the above report, Liverpool signing Sancho may perhaps suggest they are looking to replace Mohamed Salah or preparing for the Egyptian to leave, as it is hard to see both Sancho and Salah fitting into the same team on a regular basis, this though is of course only speculation at this point.
