Leno & Arsenal
Arsenal’s current goalkeeping situation is something of a strange one.
Last season’s run-in saw Emiliano Martinez put on some starring displays for the north Londoners, playing a key role in their FA Cup final success.
However, over the summer, Arsenal made the decision to stick with Bernd Leno as their no.1, and ship Martinez off to Aston Villa.
Since the Argentine joined Villa, he has continued to impress, whilst Leno has looked somewhat underwhelming.
The German has made a number of high-profile mistakes this season, including one vs Everton last month, with that defeat all but confirming Arsenal would not be finishing in the top-six this season:
That is an absolute shocker from Leno.

Neto to leave Barcelona
In turn, amid a fairly disappointing campaign, it was not too much of a shock to see it claimed that Leno is one of several players for sale at Arsenal this summer.
Amongst the Gunners stars on the market are believed to be Leno, Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Sead Kolasinac.
Now, a recent report from the Spanish media has linked Arsenal with a new keeper.
As per Goal, citing Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are willing to part ways with Neto this summer, with Arsenal believed to be mulling over an offer.
Neto’s current deal in Catalonia does run until 2023, but MD claim that the shot-stopper will play his final game for the club this Saturday.
There is no potential fee mentioned in the report, but given his fairly short contract and his limited playing time since he joined Barca, it is hard to see the 31-year-old setting any potential suitor back too much.
It is also not reported as to whether or not Neto would be viewed as a replacement for Leno or as a back-up to the German.
