Man City eyeing Grealish
The headline news in the footballing world on Friday has surrounded Jack Grealish.
On the back of another stellar campaign with Aston Villa, Manchester City were linked with the midfielder earlier this month.
It was even claimed that the Sky Blues wanted Grealish as much as Harry Kane.
Now, several further developments have emerged in the Grealish saga on Friday.

Various media outlets have reported that Man City were close to reaching an agreement for Grealish.
It has been claimed City are prepared to pay around £100m for the midfielder, which would be a British transfer record:

Aston Villa in contract talks with Grealish
A deal actually coming to fruition though, may be harder than expected given the above report.
Firstly, it has been reported that Aston Villa will not welcome any approach for Grealish and have not received a bid yet:

Then, Matt Maher of the Express & Star reported that Villa have opened talks with Grealish over a new contract as they look to fend off interested from Man City.
Discussions are said to have been ongoing for more than a week:
