Although they are yet to officially make a signing, the club are rumoured to be close to signing Ben White, currently in the England squad at Euro2020, for around 50 million pounds.
In addition, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the Gunners are looking to make a double signing in the coming days.

Sambi Lokonga, of Anderlecht, has been strongly linked with a move to the Emirates across the last couple of weeks, with a 20 million euro valuation being touted.
According to Romano, a compromise has been reached between the two clubs, with a reported 17.5 million euros plus add-ons, along with a percentage of any future sales made.
As others have reported, Arsenal are pursuing a deal for Benfica left-back Nuno Tavares. #AFC focus has been a Tierney back-up aged roughly 20/22 & 21yo Tavares would fit the bill. Could be done for around €10m or less. With @gunnerblog for @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/GNKuawS46I

Nuno Tavares, on the other hand, is a name that has come to the fore in the last couple of days, with David Ornstein reporting the interest on Monday afternoon. The rumoured fee, if reports are to be believed, will be around 8 million euros up front.
A good start to the summer
With these two signings, Arsenal will address key issues in their squad, with a backup left-back crucial to provide cover for the injury-prone Kieran Tierney. Lokonga, meanwhile, will provide competition in central midfield where Mikel Arteta is set to lose Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi, Lucas Torreira and Dani Ceballos this summer.
There is plenty more business that needs doing in North London this summer, but this trio represents a solid start to proceedings.
