Arsenal pushing for early deals
Despite being in the middle of June, Arsenal are pushing to try and recruit as many of their targets as possible in the early moments of the window.
Reportedly the club have already had bids for both Ben White and Sambi Lokonga knocked back by Brighton and Anderlecht.
However, the club remain intent on getting their targets and will be going back in with follow-up offers.
The bid for Ben White was reported to be in the region of around £40 million.

Arsenal are looking to strengthen their central defensive area having lost David Luiz at the end of his contract and with Greek Defender Konstantinos Mavropanos looking likely to depart for Stuttgart.
As reported last month, Dinos Mavropanos is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans for next season.

Lokonga meanwhile has seen a bid of just over €15 million rejected with the Belgian side wanting closer to €20m. This seems a small gap the club are willing to bridge.
Anderlecht have rejected Arsenal’s first offer for Belgian midfielder Albert Sambi-Lokonga (21).

Brighton want more than £50m for White
However whilst their efforts to sign the Belgian midfielder may come at a smaller price, the expectations of Brighton and Hove Albion for White are much more excessive.
Reported via The Athletic’s Andy Naylor, Brighton are expecting a figure in excess of 50 million begin entertaining any talks for White. With other big clubs anticipated to make their interest known also.
An update, ICYMI yesterday. It will take more than £50m and other heavyweights lurking in the background have yet to show their hand. #BHAFC https://t.co/jMstTlo52k

This could be a problem for the Gunners who, whilst showing ambition with these bids, are limited to a certain degree as to what they will do.
The club failed to match the bid for Emi Buendia made by Aston Villa and the arrival of Richard Garlick from the Premier League will see things managed in as controlled and sensible a way as possible.
Aston Villa outbid Arsenal to agree a club-record £33m fee to sign Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City.
