Arsenal make offers for ‘4 players’ as Arteta looks to cement top 4 hopes

Arsenal make offer 4 players

The summer transfer window is an extremely important period for Arsenal Football Club as they look to revive their stature in the Premier League.

A timid display in the previous campaign saw them finish in 8th position for the second season in a row and without any European football.

Whilst it has come as a big hit to not have exploits on the continent next season it may be an opportunity to focus on their league ambitions and fight once again for a top 4 place.

To do this, the club is looking at improving a number of areas of the team and are proactively moving for targets.

Chris Wheatley of football.london has reported that as many as 4 offers have been made for players in the last week.

Told that Arsenal have made offers for four players in the past week.

They’re confident of wrapping up two of those deals soon – believed to be Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Who are the 4 players?

It is expected that two have been rejected relating to Brighton’s Ben White and Anderlecht’s Sambi Lokonga, however the Gunners are expected to up their proposals for the pair.

The identity of the other two players are not clear however according to Italian media, Sassuolo and Italy midfielder Manuel Locatelli has had a proposal made by Arsenal.

In addition, the Gunners are interested in Sheffield United’s Aaron Ramsdale. Arsenal saw Mat Ryan depart the club at the completion of his loan deal and do remain interested but see Ramsdale as a good homegrown option.

Arsenal also hold an interest in Ruben Neves with a figure in the region of £35-£40 million enough for Wolves to consider selling the Portuguese international.

There are a multitude of options that the Gunners are linked with and should they get business done early, it will be an encouraging sign for things to come.
